    Not knowledgeable on this matter so I thought I would ask - is it "okay" to connect speakers with different impedance to the one multichannel amp? For example connecting a L&R (6 ohms) and a Center (4 ohms) to a 3-channel amp. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Thank you. I should be more specific. When I mentioned hum, I really meant to say, it buzzes typically after a 2~5 minutes after start up, but then stops after a couple of minutes. Sometimes the buzz starts again and then stops after a few minutes. Checked the components to make sure nothing...

    My 21 year old Krell KAV-1500 amp occasionally hums, the hum is very audible, but would not describe it as too loud. Anyone have an idea what could be causing this hum? Is it just age?     I feel the same. The last firmware fixed a number of bugs, still not perfect, but overall I'm enjoying my XMC-2. Wasn't aware of the upcoming processor upgrade, I guess I'll have a decision to make sometime this summer. :)
