Is a single license for Mac AND PC, or either Mac or PC, assuming that I am only using one and not both at the time? I like to know if changing platform is a problem or requiring to pay again.
I did a bit of searches and perhaps have found a solution that works. A bit convoluted.
PC audio pass-though using a HDMI port to
EZCOO HDMI splitter/down scaller to 2 outputs
[1] Denon (or other brand) AVR for atmos
[2] Black Magic Micro converter HDMI to SDI to
Black Magic SDI to Audio...

Just wondering if you guys solve this problem and has a working solution. Is it possible to use a PC to decode 7.1 base layer, while sending HDMI audio to an AVR to just decode height/top channels?
Good list. I just like to add that Topping and perhaps other 8-channels DACs do not have word clock in, and sync problems may exist if one uses 2 or more units at the same time.
mean wells has power supplies that can go above thousands of watts.
Perhaps this RSP-1000-48

However, 2 x 400-500w power supplies actually may be cheaper.
not entirely accurate. A PC software can decode full 9.x.6 atmos track, and play it over 16 speakers.

It works great for music. Does not work on moives though.
There is a thread here on ASR talking about convolver.

I guess time to add another Cisco switch to the shopping cart.
I have always been a big fan of RME because of its bomb-proof reliability. But, I think I will do Merging/aes67 if I am going to build an system around an Arvus.
