    Denon AVR-X8500H AVR Review

Circling back around on this, here is Harman’s response (I will see how the bi-amping goes) Thank you for contacting Harman Luxury Audio Support. The tweeter and the midrange are driven by the HF or the top terminals while the LF or the bottom terminals drive the woofers. Please refer to the...

    Denon AVR-X8500H AVR Review

I realize the following is controversial (in terms of efficacy (or lack thereof)) but I can’t help but think there may be some benefit in bi-amping my front Left and Right Revel F208 speakers in my current 7.1.2 setup. To complicate matters, I am running Three Outlaw 2220s to power my FRONT...

    Denon AVR-X8500H AVR Review

No one knows for sure but many speculate it is because ‘separates’ are considered a low production enthusiast type product and therefore prone to higher production costs on a per model basis (and I am quite sure there is some (or rather a lot) price gouging going on).

Revel f208 (6mos old) blew up? - see attached

Having the same issue with one of my F208s. Curious if you got this sorted and if so what your approach was (e.g.replaced tweeter with OEM part)? Thanks!

SMSL D12 DAC & Headphone Amp Review

I tell ya I had one hell of a time figuring out how to achieve output when using the SMSL D12 connected to my Mac Mini M1. I must have read the instructions 5 times to no avail. I finally stumbled upon a setting (purely by luck) using the included remote control that solved the problem...

I recently purchased the V3 however I am unsure where to purchase the 48V-10A power supply. As such, will you please provide the link to the 48Volt-10Amp power supply you sell or recommend a suitable 48Volt-10Amp sold by a third party? Thank you

Audyssey's Next Generation of Room Correction (MultEQ-X)

I still think OCA should take the plunge and become a Multeq-X user! Note: latest version allows for the importation of target curves via text files

Audyssey's Next Generation of Room Correction (MultEQ-X)

Not that I am aware of. Headroom expansion allows the user to go above+ 9db (with a corresponding cap) but I am not aware of a way to limit the correction within the range of +0db - +9db

Audyssey's Next Generation of Room Correction (MultEQ-X)

Ok but just to be clear it appears your result is due to almost 8 db of boost (in terms of its peak) from ~14Hz to ~20Hz. You are OK driving your sub that hard (or having to rely on the limiter)? I agree with Reverend Slim…..I would leave it at its default. Why push your sub so hard when the...

I would go with what MultEQ-X has detected……just because your sub may go down to 14Hz anechoically doesnt mean your room will support such
