So based on the DSD quality, i have to set cut-off frequency manually on the D300? What is it for, why do we need to do that? I've been curious that feature on the D300 but don't know how to look up, can you please explain more or share some key words or articles about it? Thanks

Yes it's in fixed volume mode So there's no way to do native DSD on Mac even with other DACs or it's just the problem of this D300 DAC?

Hi, are you able to play DSD native on Mac? Can you please show me how? I'm currently using Audirvana on Mac Mini M1 to play DSD but it must be converted to PCM to have sound, if I set it to DSD over PCM, all I have is just noise. Thanks

Hi, from my experience, the D300 can only play DSD converted to PCM, it can't play native DSD I tried with the Audirvana and Colibri on my Mac Mini, both can't play DSD on DoP mode. If I switch to DoP on both app, there's only like crackling sound from the speakers. Not sure if I misunderstand...
