    Hypex Nilai500DIY Amplifier Review

That's the greatest install documentation video I have ever seen. Well done.

    Revel C208 Review (Center Speaker)

Can anyone that owns this speaker tell me the rear height dimension? The manual/specs only list the max height, (front of speaker), even though there is a substantial slope going towards the back of the speaker, making the rear height look to be at least several inches less.

    Revel M106 Bookshelf Speaker Review

This surprises me! To me just about every OTHER brand of bookshelf speakers are hideous. I think M106 in all the colors, especially walnut, is quite attractive. The only other brand that excites me are old-school Paradigms, circa early 2000's. I loved the robotic look of the Ref and...

Buckeye Amps: New US based Hypex multichannel amplifier builder, line-up announcement!

I have left it on ~48 hours accidentally before, but I intentionally shut it down when I leave the office each night. It never gets "hot", only mildly warm to the touch. But I have it near papers, so I try not to push my luck.

Well, I slept in line for Star Wars Episode One tickets, at least you got something good out of the deal! :D

Buckeye Amps: New US based Hypex multichannel amplifier builder, line-up announcement!

My order has arrived! Hooked up and plays very loud on my work PC setup using SVS Ultras Bookshelf. Quick unboxing pics, these are cell phone photos, so forgive the focus and quality. The amp was VERY well packaged and protected on the side.

Buckeye Amps: New US based Hypex multichannel amplifier builder, line-up announcement!

Per Buckeyes recommendation and my own previous experience, I went with the BJC Twelve White Speaker Cable, locking bananas to locking bananas. For the XLR, which I had never previously sourced, I bought BJC Belden 1800F XLR Male / XLR Female, which was also blessed by Buckeye. So the plan...

Buckeye Amps: New US based Hypex multichannel amplifier builder, line-up announcement!

Happy I got in line when I did. The Blue Jeans cables you recommended were delivered this weekend. Now I need to sit patiently and wait like a good little audiogeek. :D

Buckeye Amps: New US based Hypex multichannel amplifier builder, line-up announcement!

Bought XLR cables, terminated Speaker wires, mini Desktop stands for the speakers, and a few other things in preparation for my Buckeye amp. I also prewarned my boss that his face is going to be melted off, so there no way he will be surprised when it happens. I will post pics when my amp...

Buckeye Amps: New US based Hypex multichannel amplifier builder, line-up announcement!

Ordered mine today. 2 channel with small case with new logo. Dumb question, not sure if it's been answered. Will the amp come with a simple "owners manual"? with specs and a diagram labeling the left / right input / outputs, explaining the trigger and also the operation of the two...

Buckeye Amps: New US based Hypex multichannel amplifier builder, line-up announcement!

Other than Amir's comments about the Hypex using 3rd tier capacitors, has there been any dissection or testing or longevity claims (good or bad) about what is being used in these modules? I ask because I am wondering if I should expect to get 1, 5, 10, or 20 years of use from this Class D amp...

    Topping D30Pro Review (Balanced DAC)

This! It's the only thing holding me back from ordering either a d30 pro or the DX7 pro. Why no trigger? Seems to me that many DACS are either missing a volume control, a trigger, or sometimes both...

Buckeye Amps: New US based Hypex multichannel amplifier builder, line-up announcement!

The one downside I've realized is that the Topping DAC does not seem to come with a 12v trigger output. I think that means I need to toggle the Buckeye on/off from the back everytime. I wonder what happens when someone accidentally leaves a NC252MP on for a few days...

Buckeye Amps: New US based Hypex multichannel amplifier builder, line-up announcement!

When I see the photos of the 2 channel 252 with new case with the Logo, I think that will seal the deal for me. Looking forward to using some older speakers sitting in my attic for a 2-channel setup at work that will melt by boss's face off. Planning on pairing it with a TOPPING DX7 Pro...

Buckeye Amps: New US based Hypex multichannel amplifier builder, line-up announcement!

Can't wait to see how it came out. By materials staying the same does this mean aluminum or steel? I think you said at one point your were adding/ changing to steel.

Buckeye Amps: New US based Hypex multichannel amplifier builder, line-up announcement!

Why do the hypex modules not specify a 6ohm rating? Seems to me that would be more common than 2ohm.

Buckeye Amps: New US based Hypex multichannel amplifier builder, line-up announcement!

@Buckeye Amps @AdamG247 thank you for the reply regarding my worry about too much power. It makes sense now. Buckeye, I know you have been asked for a faceplate with your logo and/or brand and model number, but for cost reasons are keeping it plain to pass on as much savings as possible...
