I’ve been eyeing the Pre90 for awhile. I want to connect it up to my Sabaj a20d 2022. Reason being is I need more inputs. Would I notice a performance increase compared to the built in preamp function on the DAC?

I want to use a separate preamp for this Sabaj DAC as I need more inputs. Is the Topping Pre90 better performing than the built in preamp function in real-world listening? I know spec wise it’s top notch.

Hey guys, I recently purchased this DAC and have been using it for the past couple of days. Tonight I tried using the XLR output and I heard a loud pop come through my speakers. Everything was okay after but it’s got me thinking. Thanks!
