Thanks for your review. From your analysis, these are very respectable results at this price range, and really not too much to complain about in every aspect. Truly a value leader. The 160Hz artifact is interesting, could be an artifact from the new electronics?

I would agree with the sub to supplement the mains. In fact, I would suggest multiple (cheaper) subs to get better in room low end response.

When do you estimate the full review to be posted?

I'd have some great musicians on hand to play whatever I want to hear, whenever I wanted.

This was a great, informative video, and a more natural presentation from yourself. It does make me wonder if the acoustic source is something that should be specifically identified by manufacturers on their speakes, so that measurements can be standardised among reviewers (or listeners).

L&M has a discount of $30 on the In-8 v1, so I suspect they should stock v2s soon.

For my implementation, they would also be used with DSP (MiniDSP), and dual subwoofers for the low end.

I'm in the same boat for 2-3m listening: Kali IN-8 v2s or Genelec 8030Cs. In Canada these 2 speakers are much closer in price than in the US. IN-8 v2 - US$399, CA$569 (US$472) 8030C - US$695, CA$789 (US$653) The Genelecs cost 75% more than the Kali's in the US, yet they're only 33% more than...

Are there any retailers in Canada with the 2nd Wave version in stock?
