Yep my vintage Denon only has auto lift and stops the motor. I have no desire for full automatic. Interesting the 1500c only auto lifts. Seems like if the TT senses the end of a record and has a lifting mechanism built in it would be trivial to send a stop signal to the motor.

I’m running my Dad’s Denon DP-62L he bought new in the early 80s. I recapped it a few years ago. It sounds great, is direct drive, and looks better than most anything I see out there today. Aside from ASR having a fairly negative view on vinyl in general. What are opinions on vintage turntables?

Thank you. I read the entire HTx thread here and this has really turned me off the HTx. I’m currently looking for a decent deal on a used SHD and am going to hold off on the HTx or similar until they release a model that can decode bitstream.

What sub are you using that doesn’t have a LPF? The cheapest of the cheapest powered subs on Amazon still have adjustable crossovers. As others have said I’d appreciate an adjustable high pass filter for mains to take some work off them filled by the sub.

As a Roon Ready device it would be nice to be able to control volume from my Roon Remote app but I think volume control for the TV with HDMI eARC trumps that. I’d love to see N update of the SHD with HDMI and more outputs.
