Nilai is a DIY project and costs nearly the same price. Topping LA90 is not comparable by power; AHB2 by cost. So Apollo is the best choice in class-D hypex boards, for me.

Well built SMPS makes difference. Old-school linear power supply, heavy and costly, are dead. Will be a new era for fully class A design?

is there life (or sound) at -130 db? they are always the same devices; few integrate an hdmi in/out, or a digital coax out. on decent analog volume control and one or two aux inputs they might lose a few sinad db, to become flexible digital preamps. thanks to Amirm, who tirelessly publishes...

I think the system was designed by a competent engineer, you don't need to roll op-amps, better listen to your vinyl collection.
