Douk Audio DAC-Q11--The first USB DAC with Switchable ESS9038Q2M and AK4493?

This should be a great tool for people to find out for themselves whether different DAC chips sound different. A much better way to learn rather then being told or even mocked for wanting to know. The griping about this product by some people is pathetic. Hopefully, the outputs are matched though.

How About Creating a Modern Cassette Player?

That could be a blanket answer for this whole thread. Some people still prefer physical media.

How About Creating a Modern Cassette Player?

OK, I see what you mean. True, although MDs appear to last far longer than cassettes and you can still pick up plenty of blank MDs from Japan. The machines are more likely to fail before the media.

How About Creating a Modern Cassette Player?

As are the ageing of the MD player/recorders, unfortunately. The lack of pre-recorded media doesn't worry me so much, as I generally use MD as a recorder.

My Kingdom For A Remote Volume Knob! can this be made?

I totally agree with you, the remote you ended up with looks gorgeous. Hopefully, they will become more common. But for any Topping owner who doesn't like their awful, short ranged generic remote, that Aliexpress remote is an easily programmable replacement.

My Kingdom For A Remote Volume Knob! can this be made?

No knob, but I bought this learning remote last year. It's a solid piece of Aluminium and is far better than the Topping remote that it has replaced. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003329156377.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.77.1d371802rwVxtO

    Topping E50 Review (Balanced DAC)

I just bought the E50 and it's an improvement over the original Khadas ToneBoard. I didn't think I'd be able to hear the difference between the two?

Nordost Blue Heaven AC Cord Review

I had a friend who was into these cables, we did do #1 with genuine Audioquest Sky cables against a pair bought on Aliexpress. It wasn't a double-blind test, but we couldn't hear any difference. I couldn't convince him to cut open his genuine cable though, lol.

Nordost Blue Heaven AC Cord Review

I went to one of those Nordost cable demonstrations at a hifi store. The Nordost guy played his cables from the cheapest upwards, each time a vague improvement could be heard by most people there. I asked him to play the cheapest cable again when he reached his most expensive cable (Valhalla?)...
