Maybe musicians record with extra low distortion, in the hope that most people will play using systems that add distortion, to ultimately sound as they had intended ? So my aim for ultra low distortion is incorrect.

That is the joy of removing the distortion though. To me the definition of Hi-Fi is to not add distortion to the playback chain.

My B200's arrived last week, bought to compare against my Benchmark AHB2. On paper the B200 have better IMD by 20dB (-110 v -130 dB), and zero crosstalk being monoblocks...
