Ah, rats. Apologies if this is obvious advice, but be sure to not partition the drive before install, just delete them. Good luck!

I installed Daphile on a Wyse 3030 LT this week, and had success by first booting Tiny Core from USB and using fdisk to delete all partitions on emmc storage. Could be worth a shot.

Just a heads-up that Daphile had a pair of updates over the past couple of months. After a painless update, I found that the key-bindings/controls now work with a Flirc USB/IR receiver. Fantastic piece of software.

Just wanted to share my player. Found a cheap cheap Sony D-E551 on eBay. Optical out to a D30. Simple and I've enjoyed for years now.

You shouldn't need to install a driver for it to work with piCorePlayer. It should be available in Alsa as "USB-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack..." I just tested it out on my Pi Zero with pCP (v.6.0.0) (and also with Raspotify running on DietPi) and it is working without issue. Below is a screen shot...

The solution turned out to be much simpler. I upgraded to pCP v. 6.0.0 and set the ALSA volume control to PCM. Ironed the problem right out.
