so , i want to connect , topping e50 over optical to my streamer and then rca out to topping A90D , but I want output from 4.4 headphone out. Is this possible?

Ofcourse denafrips fresh outta the box, needs burn in for 200 hours minimum, but bass response wont change I don't think.. maybe holographic soundstage will come .. i was getting quite good depth with topping... so I thought lets try ares ii , and now I have my topping plugged into the rig back...

no, but denafrips got no bass, vs topping sounding like shaking ears on same track, level matched and Aryas eqd to oratory over roon

I can now without dispute say dacs do sound different. listen to denafrips ares ii and any topping double blind volume matched , immediately you can tell topping got bass !

The difference between Ares ii and Topping E50 is that E50 has better bass, my ears shake kinda bass, but Denafrips have lol bass and converted my arya to a sundara

a simple step like that , not sure why I will fool myself, but the difference is stark for me

all said , when connected to powerbanks the toppings taste good, connecting to mains with charger brick, they are meh.. dunno why

I just switched to the macbook air m2 base model, 7hz timeless on headphone jack, tidal hifi, DAC manufacturers are pretty much obsolete now I think. What sound! better than any DAC with highest SINAD here any day!

Is MQA renderer working? I chose renderer only, neither tidal connect nor WiiM home tidal showing MQA over optical

MQA or no MQA, apple's USB implementation is the best across all hardware segments in God's green earth. Now dont ask me if i double blind a/b d it. I can say its the case like i can say Speyside single malt gives a better high than Johnny red , black . you would definitely need Green/gold blue...

im using E50 with wiim, dac's awesom, and no skipping problems. The wiim on the other hand is , well buggy...
