Can someone compare the device to the SMSL m500 ?

@amirm would you switch from the smsl 500 (v2) ? i paid ~ 360 for the SMSL m500 and amazon offered a refund. So i could get the EX5 for around ~300 i use XLR Yamaha HS5 and some headphones depending on the situation (mostly Audio Technica ATH 900)

mandy mentioned that they are working on a european solution. but since she was active for a week or so smsl seems to be dead again :( i cant reach anyone for eu solutions. IF someone finds a way (EU / Germany) pls tag me in your post!

i have a V2 and did not notice heating problems yet. (but i dont touch the device that often. It is on for about 10 hours a day but only in use for around 2 - 4 hours.)

how? SMSL is the manufacturer of the device? So its the first party. shenzhenaudio is a distributor so it is 3rd or even further party depending how you count. the only "first party" you could put before a manufactuer would be ESS Technology since they produce the ES9038PRO. but unlike...

because its a "simple" physics measurement of sinad etc - not a review of psychoacoustic behaviour of the device
