Yeah i best 20W, 60 SINAD, 70s amp is extra grate and you will take it to your grave. I would too if it would cost me a 2 year salary 40 years ago. I can feel the pain that every douchebag can now have shiny, 50W, 120 SINAD, modern efficient amp for the half of lowest possible salary in most...

@REK2575 sound like you meant exactly that, because before topping every company in 1-3 year cycle relesed basically the same line of disposable poor performing products for like last 40 years. Oh yeah, and they were overpriced so its fine, and topping is cheap so its bad xD

The separate power supply is second greatest thing ever since sliced bread :) The thing is that you can't connect a $10k audiophile power cable to it, right? ;) This solution is super cheap, extremely easy to replace for pennies, its potential failure does not immobilize the entire amplifier...

I dont think you use the term "optimal" properly... Optimal doesent mean "highest efficiency possible with disregard to other factors".

Whats the practical difference between these plugs? None, so who gives a... Also, aren't USB-B cables in much more variable lenghts? I never understood the need to put a headphone jack in a DAC. Its a DAC, it doesn't need to be a headphone amplifier.

but why not swappable condensers or resistor, people believe in them too ;)
