Htx uses es9017s. SINAD at 4V is better than SHD, but the multitone is not in good shape at all. BTW, not sure about 88A, but the Htx does not have input EQ. Only output IIR EQ, which is kinda of limited.

Forget about the thermal. Won’t be a problem at all. You will not run your amp at full power as well. Either of them will sound about the same, if not exactly the same.

Silicons are not human body. It can endure much higher temp. Read through Ncore module’s manual and you will find Hypex recommend heatsink of 2.5mm thickness for Ncx500 no fan needed. Dual mono and stereo depends on how much power/continuous power you need.
