I have the preamp plugged into a PS Audio Power Plant 12. I put an Emotiva CMX2 between the two and it seems to have resolved the buzzing. The preamp doesn’t really have a sound, which is good. I am using it for volume control.

I noticed that the Musician Monoceros Pre-Amp that I have is buzzing. I can hear it when I place my ear near the device. It sounds like it could be transformer hum. The sound is not from the speakers. Is this normal or could it indicate a problem with the unit? Thank You

I swapped the XLR out cables, then was able to find the I2S mode where everything was backwards, then PCM and DSD came of the correct channel. I also had to experiment until the phase was correct for both types.

Thank you, but it appears that their solution was to swap the RCA cables, which would make PCM audio incorrect.

I am using the Gustard U18 with a Musician Pegasus DAC. I am using the I2S output on the U18 and the I2S input on the Pegasus. PCM audio seems to work fine, however the left and right channels are swapped while playing DSD audio. I have tried the 4 different modes on the U18 and the 8 different...

Will the USB 3 port read a hard drive formatted as EXT4 ? My existing music collection is on a Linux partition. I am curious if I can plug that drive into the A6’s USB port and copy the files from it to the m.2 drive that I will install?

On the product page for this it states: Support USB, Optical, Coaxial, HDMI digital audio Bit-perfect output. Is this possible with Android OS? I have read that Android resamples from 44.1 kHz to 48 kHz.

I tried a couple of these on the XLR outs of the Pegasus DAC. Unfortunately the lower frequencies sound horrible.

I have this amp and it is extremely quiet with regard to hum and buzz compared to other amps that I have. Is the noise floor really that low or is it using some type of auto-mute technology?

Has anyone been able to find which setting provides unity gain while using as a preamp? Balanced XLR in / RCA out.
