    My speakers have a sensitivity of 90 dB so I cannot really comment on that. But if your using Hypex amplifiers it should not be a problem. Excluding any hiss/hum introduced due to non balanced connections from miniDSP to amplifier.

    Hello, If you want loud, as in 125 dB continuous, in an somewhat attractive package I can recommend the Ascendo Live 15 It's a superb 12" Coaxial from PHL mated to a custom made 15 inch (sub)woofer. Best of luck on your speaker quest. Michael

    For the price it's a very good driver. There was a good review with a lot of measurements on the German site: "hifi-selbstbau.de" but unfortunately it seems to be no longer for free... The only real weakness of this driver is it's power handling / SPL capability and it is recommended to cross it...

    Crazy PA Coaxials for Hifi

    I really like the PHL Coaxials. Especially the PHL X30-4590 You can choose your own compression driver but the BMS-4544 seems to work pretty well. That's going to be my next project :-) Paired with two 18" subs :-)
