    New Dutch&Dutch loudspeakers.

I am sure I have just used Neutrik connectors in the past without any issues, there is an impedance matching unit, I will send a link. https://www.neutrik.com/en/neutrik/products/accessories/circular-adapters The Ultra would be much more use to me if it had XLR balanced outs, perhaps a’ pro’...

Let's develop an ASR inter-sample test procedure for DACs!

Master Thread: Are measurements Everything or Nothing?

There is the subjective part which is always good no matter how dire the equipment and then JA’s measurements ( which hardly anyone understands) and finally at best an extremely mild questioning of the subjective reviewers findings. Keith

Master Thread: Are measurements Everything or Nothing?

The fact that some manufacturers don’t send their products already speaks volumes. The US distributor of a well known U.K. loudspeaker stated categorically that he would never send a speaker either here or to Erin, that tells me everything I need to know about those products. Keith

    OHIO Speaker Design Competition 2024

Eq which should only be applied to minimal phase regions of the FR simply removes additions made by the room. Keith

Are MBL omnidirectional speakers worth the $$$?

This is probably as close to a true omnidirectional design, commercial ones only omni in horizontal axis. Keith

Displacement rather than physical size. Keith

I find nothing compelling about heroically poor design . Keith

Are MBL omnidirectional speakers worth the $$$?

Theta wants variable directivity, that’s exactly what the 90s can offer, one of the modes is omni. Keith

But most want at least some semblance to the record being played. Keith

Are MBL omnidirectional speakers worth the $$$?

Beolab 90s, you will have to adjust volume though, and good for parties. Keith

Zu wasn’t ‘too imbalanced’ if they aren’t what on earth is? Perhaps the worst loudspeaker I have ever heard. Keith
