I like this passive cooling concept of case=heatsink. Has anyone opened theirs to see if they ended up with thermal compound at the interface?

I've used them on several sets of headphones, none of those ANC ones. You'd just have to figure out if any of those would take them. I'm sure others have tried and posted if it was possible. It definitely in the mod category, so YMMV.

I will vouch for the Brainwavz ear pads. They measure 70mm x 50mm internally and are the largest I've found. Big ear gang! No idea on their effect for ANC or SQ but it's easy to test them and return them if they don't work out.

You might be able to get different ear pads that fit some of those that you listed? That will likely effect the sound or isolation but possibly open up the internal pad volume to better fit you.

Not sure why the vibe was off on his review, but it definitely was oddly dismissive. Class D dogma lives on I guess. Has anyone managed to change the Super Early Bird deal from 10a to 2*5a psus? Or are you all just paying the small increase difference?

Seems like it's time for @Fosi Audio to chime in and clear this up. I hope there is a 10a variant of that same psu that they've elected rather than the 6.25A version shown here.
