Is there a rough response you should target for music?

Just a few months ago I bought a pair of JBL LSR305 studio monitors, and they sound amazing. Everything is super detailed and there's no distortion. But they seem to be too bright (likely due to room reflections) for my taste and don't sound as pleasant as I'd like them to. Is there a frequency...

Peace EQ APO outputting to 2 devices at once?

How can I get Peace to output to 2 devices at once? Or do I need to use another app like Voicemeeter to actually output to my 2 already EQ'd devices? I've used Peace to EQ my speakers/subs and set their profiles to always active, but I can't figure out how to output to the both of them without...

    Will acoustic foam panels help?

Would it really need to be volume dependent? Not sure if the DSP I'm gonna get even has that capability, it's the t.racks DSP 4x4 mini. If you have any other recommendations under £130 that would be great. Sadly I can't switch to apple because I do a lot of gaming (you cant see it in the pics...

    Will acoustic foam panels help?

I might move the PC off of my desk, but it gets super dusty on the floor and it’s a nightmare to get to any cables. I’ll try sort something out once I get my subs installed. Only worry on the floor is my hard drives might have issues being right next to 2 huge magnets.

    Will acoustic foam panels help?

Oh wow, I’ll have to look into that. I wanted a UMIK1 but didn’t think it was worth the price. Thanks

    Will acoustic foam panels help?

My 10" subs aren't in a proper box yet, I'll likely finish the box in a couple weeks. Also gonna get a DSP at some point for low + high passing those subs and my monitors. As much as I'd like a measurement mic, it's too much to justify the price. Whereas acoustic panels are cheap enough that I...

    Will acoustic foam panels help?

If I did get panels instead of EQing out that harshness, would it be enough to stick them along the back and left walls and not behind me? And what cheap panels would you recommend instead of foam?

    Will acoustic foam panels help?

My desk is screwed into the wall to give me as much room as I can fit in this tiny corner, so I can't rotate it. Probably just gonna DSP it and try to get the harshness out that way if panels won't make a difference.

    Will acoustic foam panels help?

At high volumes, my JBL LSR305 monitors sound super harsh, (at low volumes it’s fine, but I’m guessing reflections are just more present at high volumes?) and I reckon it’s from room reflections. How much of a difference would acoustic foam panels make and where would be the best place to put...

    Volume and sub crossover

The WiiM amp and Ultra are wayyy out of my budget. The EQ itself doesn't need to be good at all. Literally just enough to pull a little of the low end off of my speakers and crossover the subwoofer at 80hz. My biggest worry would be the 25hz high pass on everything, which if it isn't a super...

    Volume and sub crossover

I mean that the AVR volume knob won’t control pre outs. Only the passive speakers hooked up to it. The active speakers have individual volume knobs but they’re on the back - i’m looking for a physical knob I can turn like on the FBQ1502HD that’s a lot easier Edit: It’s a yamaha rx-v361, there...

    Volume and sub crossover

Hi there, I'm looking for something to control the volume on my my passive and active speakers, as well as a sub out, something like the behringer fbq1502hd. My avr doesn't have line out, only pre outs, so the volume won't control my active JBL studio monitors, only the passive speakers. I...

    Budget home sub amp <£170

I've had a look, and I think this will work well. 450W 8ohm bridged t.amp e400, and then I can use the Behringer FBQ1502HD graphic EQ. It has XLR sub out with crossover, and I can use the EQ to control my passive speakers' amp as well as my active speakers separate from one another. Amp is £115...

    Budget home sub amp <£170

Hi there. I'm going to build a DIY sub at some point but need an amp to power it, likely going with a rockford P2D2 or P3D2 12". If there any other better 12" subs within this price range (sub £160 ideally but could maybe stretch to £200 if it's really worth it) then that'd be great. I was...
