EQ (plugins) can be added to the Foobar2000 signal path. You should also be able to use the MathAudio Headphone DSP component for FB2K (free). There are detailed instructions on their website. Using Tidal with Foobar2000

If you get to (4) I'm not clear on the benefit of the $325 WiiM Ultra vs one of the models that are half as much (at least) for streaming Qobuz? But, I agree with @JeremyFife - I'd go the simple route. Your wife will thank you.

If the wife has entered the chat, then a WiiM unit is your God send. Since you stream with Qobuz I consider this a defacto no-brainer for the cost (can be under $75).

You could plug a Wiim Mini into the BT speaker and stream from the NAS over WiFi. That's what I do with a JBL Charge as a "floater". Two other WiiM's connected in TV room and Office system. The units can be grouped if desired ie for concurrent playback. They even have a timing/delay mechanism...

Um, they have. The Qudelix 5K has it's own battery. It works great for me in the car (via BT) where it's always plugged into a power source. The PEQ is icing on the cake.

Not exclusively. I use the app, not the web page. Nowhere did I say that the JA11 was equal in all aspects. Just rebutting the fact that the low price should not make the inclusion of that feature impossible.
