I reread the review and I think you are being overly sensitive and making things up. So if you bought the Cambridge for $800 and they are available everyday all year long then it is worth maybe $500 on the used market if only a few months old. You come across like a fan boy who is hurt.

@Amuckart. Comparing amps by switching out speaker cables and inputs is a very difficult way to compare them against each other because there is such a extended time period between switching them out.

I would be leery of putting money into a speaker of this vintage. How much money do you think could be put into them to bring them up to a appreciable higher standard?
