I went for a stack SMSL HO100 and DO100 as I needed an analog in, most of the combination units in my price range don’t offer this apart from some of the Fiio ones which weren’t reviewed here.

Yeah the bass boost is decent, I use it with my Sundaras. You could always try equalising, there are a lot of threads on here about it. I use Equaliser APO on my PC.

Have a look on Crinacle’s website and You Tube videos, he does a good one on gaming headphones. Interestingly he says his favourite under £150 is the Koss KSC75 which is about £20. If you don’t play FPS games you may want to think about something less gamer ish as the neutral bright sounding...

Sennheiser HD600 have a neutral sound signature according to the headphone database Crinacle has compiled. You could look for a neutral tuned IEM using his IEM rankings, I've found his judgement to be pretty good. The Sennheiser IEMs look ok but there are better, cheaper ones IMO...

Hi further update. I think part of the issue was that I had already set up the DAC as a Bluetooth device so windows was defaulting to that rather than setting it up as a USB device. I removed it as a Bluetooth device today and Windows recognised it straight away.

So I finally got windows security to allow the download and it worked. Haven’t been able to mess about with the settings etc yet but it’s looking good. Will do a refresh windows install tomorrow as well. Thanks for the help, much obliged. Edit: just an fyi in case this helps anyone else. It...

Crinacle reccomends the Koss KSC75, I havent tried it but he knows his stuff. You would need a lav mic and a splitter which are pretty cheap.
