Sony unfortunately doesn't have any CD Players anymore. I am not saying the Rotel RSP-1576MKII is the best it's not. But it's worth the look if your old sony CDplayer went to trash. I am happy with the Rotel it sounds excellent and better than most cd players.

The unit sounds very good with everything I played in it using its internal circuitry. No issues. I don't like its remote all black and no back lighting.

What impressed me the most with the Prime Tv Cube is the weight, heavy for the size. I also love the cloth look.

So you haven't complained the two at all. I can tell you there is a difference. I can tell you the Dialog is better with the Prime Tv Box. Somehow the Apple TV Box berries the Dialog with action and music. The Prime Tv Box doesn't do that.
