For this money, there is NAD C298 Purify + SOA DAC.

I would skip A-S1000 and start with A-S2000 or A-S1100. Maybe it is easy to resell, but it is a hassle anyway. Better to buy a keeper.

For me, Music Cast ist great advantage over competition. Yes, you could have Raspberry PI and etc., but for everything to work flawlessly with more users und in multiple rooms, with good UI, I have not found better solution in consumer electronics.
