the dragonfly red is mobile DAC and you can use as alternative to Topping DX1 DAC if you want to to output to your stereo from digital source. So DX1 can substitute the dragonfly red, but it is not in compact form factor (unless you prefer sound from the dragonfly red for some reason).

Well, are we sure about this issue? Could someone else confirm the same to make sure it is the issue with A07 PRO and not single unit or setup problem?

As this is USB interface it should be theoretically possible to control output by Topping software. Software does not let me control volume of each channel and output of each channel is disabled -

Line out is permanent output of not amplified signal by design and no switching

line out vs headphone out
