Target Room Response and Cinema X-curve

Hmm… I thought the increase in bass level should be less then the overall increase according to the FM curves. Features taking these curves into account are DynamicEQ from Audyssey, or Dolby Loudness and perhaps others…

    Audyssey Manual Calibration Master Stroke

I think that software already provides you with the freedom to create any filter. I remember that in an upcoming version it will even have the option to import rew filters. So, none. But I’m not willing to pay such a large amount of money to only be able to use it on a single receiver. This...

    Audyssey Manual Calibration Master Stroke

Could this be due to using a decimal comma instead of a point accidentally?

    Audyssey Manual Calibration Master Stroke

This last video led to the best result so far. Thank you very much! I did a few things differently the second time. I'm using the Bruel&Kjær target curve (you can find it here; you can load it as a target curve in REW's EQ window). This curve has a bit less bass boost, which I think is too much...

Sound Check (Apple's volume normalization) changed target level?

Apple Music used to normalize tracks at -16LUFS. And I remember reading that Atmos tracks are required by Dolby to be mixed at -18. And I assume Atmos tracks are not subjected to normalization in Apple Music. This explained why Atmos tracks were always a bit softer than the stereo tracks. But I...

Using a Raspberry Pi as equaliser in between an USB source (iPad) and USB DAC

I expect it is, but don’t sue me if I’m wrong.

New Apple Music App for Classical

Yes, but then you don't get Atmos.

New Apple Music App for Classical

But no ability to control my Apple TV. So to listen on my AVR I still need to use the normal Apple Music

Using a Raspberry Pi as equaliser in between an USB source (iPad) and USB DAC

They can be used as a USB host though. For example it is possible to connect a USB record player to the USB A port.

    Bowsers & Wilkins PX

They worked well enough, but I don't like the sound. When I eq'ed it using the profile from AutoEQ, they were ok-ish, but as a system wide eq in iOS is not possible, I stopped using the headphones.

Apple iOS 16 will include Ear scanning technology to improve Spacial Audio!

I agree the setup is somewhat cumbersome , but I was able to scan both my ears in about 1 minute. I’ll check tonight but I’d assume it would also work with spatialise stereo (which I’m not a fan of) and other multichannel sources.

    Denon channel level adjust

That’s impossible to tell from here. The aim of those values is that all channels sound equally loud at the listening position. In my case Audyssey did a pretty decent job in determining the correct values. I would assume it did in your case as well. By increasing the level with 4dB, assuming...

    Denon channel level adjust

If you went through the Audyssey setup, all channels will be calibrated to play a -30dBFS pink noise signal at 75dB when your MV is set to 0dB. The channel offsets are the corrections that are needed to reach that level. That explains the negative values (in my setup most channels have negative...

Hmmm, this looks a bit weird, though, right?

Using a Raspberry Pi as equaliser in between an USB source (iPad) and USB DAC

Corrected. Thanks I agree that it's ugly. Don't know how to change it, though. But luckily it's only cosmetic.

Using a Raspberry Pi as equaliser in between an USB source (iPad) and USB DAC

I feel like it's more appropriate to thank you. You made the support of multiple rates possible in the first place (and maybe more).
