Windows 7 is not "lighter" in any meaningful way than Windows 10. In some ways Windows 10 is even more efficient than Windows 7. I would seriously reconsider the use of any software that runs on Windows 7 but not on Windows 10. Windows 7 is EOL for years now, I don't put my trust in companies...

That is not the job of a DAC. DAC should just convert the signal 1:1, not flavour it. That would be the job of an EQ and/or selection of HP/Speakers.

And how exactly did you come to that conclusion? What test methodology did you use that scientifically proofs that AKM sounds better than ESS?
