Here is my take on what I would call "minium dynamic processing" to make the raw one sound any decent. limited, but without any extra gain (observe the peak value). Noone can tell me the more dynamic original sounds better...

Also if I am beeing honest, this raw track doesn't sound good at all. the drums are way too dynamic. this might sound strange for audiophiles, but if you listen carefully this doesn't sound natural at all. it sounds like closed miked instruments thrown together, and that's what it is. Naturally...

I see where he is going, but he kind of made a fool of himself and now is talking it off lol. He could chop off 3dB or so with a sota limiter and it would be much much harder to detect. And even than it is hard to argument that it has gotten worse, even if slightly different. actually a limiter...
