I am sure I‘ve read *somewhere*, before I bought them, that you could set a standby time in the software, but I haven‘t seen such an option. Would like to make it shorter as well. No issues otherwise with standby or anything else!

Maybe I am misunderstanding you, but the Dynaudio Core 7 costs quite a bit more than the (non-AES) KH 150, and even more than the KH150 AES, at least here in Germany.

Thanks - I am pretty much 2m, so still nearfield. I do find it a *tad* bright now, though, probably because I am used to the kh120s, without any correction.

Sorry, that‘s not quite true. Both the kh150 and the 310 have the exactly identical recommended listening distance between 1,0 and 2,5 m, according to Neumann’s spec sheets.

Genelec active studio monitors and people living in trailers, two things that clearly belong together... I'll take the look of most active monitors over the "high end" furniture any day of the week, now I just need a trailer that fits my library. :D

Smaller in what way, employees, revenue? I doubt there is a huge difference between Focal and Genelec. Not sure about Kef, but it's probably a similar ballpark. None of them is a major player. Harman, Sennheiser or Bose are. Although you'd have to differentiate between pro and consumer...
