This looks really promising, and allows some great capabilities, not the least of which is a pre-set volume per input. Possibly dumb question, but is there any possibility that the MS Surface Dial could be integrated to allow volume control via the homebridge?

It takes a while to get REW figured out I suspect for most people. Once you do, you’ll have a series of aha moments. I’d go for a DSP solution first.

It's really nice. I've had some issues with the Rpi Zero falling off my network that I seem to have resolved, but I'm about to upgrade my DIY rooextend box to Rpi4 and hopefully that will solve that problem. DrCWO is super responsive to users. Can't say enough good things.

I use the MS Surface Dial via DrCWO’s rooextend/roodial setup. Works really well with Roon. There’s a way to use the Dial with the MiniDSP SHD that I think does not require Roon.

I was telling a friend who is big into bourbon about sited vs blind testing isn’t the audio world, and he said it’s the same in the whisky world. When they do blind taste tests, preferences do not correlate to cost or prestige.
