I had the DNP 800 for several years and never had major problems with it. But I never used it with HEOS. Tried HEOS once or twice. It's really horribly crappy software and that is also the consensus you find on the internet. The DNP 800 is a good network player though.

I think there wouldn't be any benefit for me with the KH 150. I don't listen to music louder than 80dB and I never sit farther than 1m from my speakers. It would totally be wasted money. A lot of wasted money.

Just ordered a pair of KH120 II. I will compare them to my Genelec 8331. Pearljam5000 says that Genelecs sound brighter. That is true. I had Neumanns before. Genelecs sound brighter and more detailed, but I'm not sure they sound more natural. Voices always sound a bit glass-like, holographic...

I think a lot of people would be really unhappy if Neumann speakers suddenly sounded like Genelecs. Tastes are different. You prefer this or that. Maybe you're just more a Genelec guy.

I had Genelecs standing next to Neumanns here before. The Neumann tweeter sounds excellent and no way worse than a Genelec tweeter.

I think you perceive it as dark and lacking detail because it plays very clean and has low distortion. No need to improve something that's already very good. Quality is timeless.

Sorry. I don't understand the applause for this "thing". It's not reliable with it's analog inputs, doesn't even come in a housing. Basically complete crap and wasted money. If you want something real then get this... Sorry, dark picture but it's close to midnight in Germany.

Don't know what to think about it. I would probably play with it one day and then put it in some drawer. A semi-professional analyzer like the TC-Electronics Clarity M (Stereo) is not horribly expensive and just on a different level than this.

I think "3/ Replace KH120’s and Eve Sub with KH120II’s and KH750dsp" is clearly the best option here, though personally I'm not a fan of subwoofers. Though in that case maybe "2/ Replace KH120’s and Eve TS108 with KH150’s". But for sure I would not keep the old KH120. Great speaker, but DSP is...
