    miniDSP room correction

DDRC24 would be the one. If you want something with the new Bass Control, you'll have to look elsewhere though. https://www.dirac.com/live/bass-control/ https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/dirac-live-bass-control-coming-to-dirac-live-stereo-this-year.37645/

Kali IN-UNF - new ultra nearfield speakers

I don't know how anyone can use speakers on a desk without significant measurement and custom DSP tuning. It's a very difficult placement.

New Home Theater REW Readings - Let me know how I did. (newbie designed and built)

Good good. Looks like a great room that you'll get a lot of enjoyment from. You've done a great job on it.

Bypass A>D conversion on Adam T7V?

It needs I2S serial digital audio signal, and you'd need to be pretty good at lifting pins or cutting tracks on fine pitch SMD. Not impossible, but difficult enough that you'd need to be really really keen to bother.

New Home Theater REW Readings - Let me know how I did. (newbie designed and built)

Does it sound a bit hot in the upper mids? Normally in the listening position you'd have a bit more downward slope from 1kHz, about 6db down at 20kHz. Not sure which version of Auddyssey you are using, but you might have some options for the target curve. (It does look like you can edit the...

Amazon Echo 4 - Teardown and few measurements

Love a good teardown. If you look on the inside of the woofer with a flashlight you should be able to see if the third woofer terminal goes anywhere.

Kali LP6 v2 speaker cone rattling/vibrating noise after low end notes (with sound example). Normal monitor behaviour?

Yep, I'd be going store to store and pulling the bad stock if I was Kali, despite the cost. Expecting the customer to deal with it seems a bit uncool.

Kali LP6 v2 speaker cone rattling/vibrating noise after low end notes (with sound example). Normal monitor behaviour?

I guess it could be a really small batch that had the issue. But I reckon just return them if you can and move on to something you are happy with owning.

Hopefully Kali will reply to your email soon - maybe the holidays have slowed things down.

Kali LP6 v2 speaker cone rattling/vibrating noise after low end notes (with sound example). Normal monitor behaviour?

My V1 LP6 don't seem to have this issue. Testing at levels that are way higher than I would monitor at. Can you post a video of the woofer while you are doing this so we can see how much excursion there is?

    Kali MM-6

I like what Kali are doing in general but I think they missed an important basic usability feature with the power if this is marketed toward the average home user.

    Kali MM-6

Good point! Maybe there isn't, I just assumed it was carried over. Are people meant to just leave them running 24/7?

    Kali MM-6

Yes it's strange that it's not mentioned in the manual. Not many home users are going to want to get up and turn them on and off at the rear switch each time they are used, so it should have at least been mentioned in the manual that there is a sleep function.

SVS Prime Bookshelf Speaker Review (by EAC)

I find it really odd that in 2022 a speaker company would release a model that was clearly not going to review well when the market has so many great and cheaper options. (Edit: My mistake, it is an old design)

Anybody PREFER listening to music on bookshelves or tower speakers only (without the subwoofer)?

Subs can excite very low frequency resonances in the room that the mains don't, and those resonances can certainly degrade the listening experience if they are prominent enough.
