Cheaper than Audiophonics now for this line. I've had 122mp and 252mp from Audiophonics, if this line was about then I would have gone Nord.
A gentle comment on calling it "value line" and sticking it on the front chassis - bad, bad idea. It will devalue your whole brand. Think of something else.
I'm confused too, the advice always seems to be if you apply a negative total gain of the amount of the total headroom used that stops the clipping? I allow boosts, but i'm still at -30 for most of my listening. Is it clipping?
It's got a mobile phone control app as well.
Quick google shows some colours on the vu meters on the display on some of the images and no colours on the display on some of the images! So I assume it's configurable?

As soon as you add stereo subs that are linear to 200hz to the meta you can no longer compare it to the R3. We are talking double the cost - at least. Then it's in a different price point. For £900, nothing comes near the R3 currently.
Somebody who wishes the DAC to actually do something more useful to the sound, e.g. control bass peaks, apply crossovers - then just pass the digital signal unaltered into analogue.
