    E1DA Cosmos ADC

WOW, 2000 ohm sounds like a typo, maybe 200?

    Oh yeah, looks better.

    E1DA Cosmos ADC

Music1969, please select the shortest cable(1/2m is enough) and full of copper. On your pic, I see a too thin one.

Haha sorry about that, wrong file ;)

I understand, but as I see he's a smart user so I like to disclose that idea to him ;)

there is some trick to measure SN/DR at a lower level than Cosmos ADC may offer i.e. subresidual noise.

eeMGee, I believe, you can get back switch functionality if drop on it some IPA 98-99% and multiple switch On/Off/On/Off.

on the other hand, you don't need Cosmos ADC if you already have some just Ok ADC if you'll add to the bench Cosmos APU. For example, any laptop's onboard audio input + APU(DR test up to 60db improvement) overtakes Cosmos ADC for the AES17 Dynamic Range test, and some laptops + APU(gives THD+N...

+/-36V bridged is too much indeed. Better to use additional in serial resistors inserted into the XLR inputs. If you like you can read our discord discussion, where we have almost everyday questions about how to measure something by ADC or APU.

Yes, HiFiGo is our reseller, the same as Linsoul, and Audiophonics.

And one more FW for Cosmos ADC, 352.8k sampling rate is corrected(it was noisy), but 705.6k is deleted.

Topping D10s + E1DA Cosmos ADC as a measuring system

don't forget that Cosmos ADC has AUX input 35-43Vrms(depends on the sensitivity switch 1.7-10Vrms), so, probably you don't need any kinda dividers at all. https://e1dashz.wixsite.com/index/cosmos-adc

this is not my idea, ESS made that this way.

    E1DA Cosmos ADC teardown

no, because this is inverting stage.

Actually, [email protected] 0dbfs about 1.8Vrms.

Why ADC converters do not use proper input anti-alias filters?

ES98** seems to have no native DSD ADC, only PCM-> convert 2 DSD.

Why ADC converters do not use proper input anti-alias filters?

Perhaps, another way is reducing the input signal to avoid Class D carrier-residual overload analog stages. In the considering case, distortions are quite high(-90db), so -6-12db of the input signal will not affects THD performance too much.
