Nice, I had this combo on my mind ever since I saw this picture:

Probably not the most optimal solution when it comes to in-room placement of subwoofers... but damn it looks cool.

The owner is a perfectionist for sure — the subs are rotated clockwise and counterclockwise to match logotypes on the monitors.

Interestingly that it uses external DSP to linearize phase in KH310s so Neumann sees benifit in more linear phase.
One then should be able to do so with any convolution if measurements of drivers are known/measured or even measure KH750 if someone has a unit.

KH310A has no delay, but KH750DSP is likely to be delayed.
If so, how do you get the timing right? Will AD / DA be added to the KH310A signal path?

This is the advantage of an AVR. I can configure timing on every speaker individually even with a budget receiver.

As I understand it, all signals go through the sub first, where the DSP is done, and then analog goes to the speaker. So, they should have the same delay.

understood. It may be unavoidable, but a little disappointing.
thank you.

KH750 has AES3 input

It uses BNC connection for AES so you might need an adapter

Good morning,

I'm considering adding "their" KH-750 subwoofer to the Neumann KH-310.

For the setup I would use the iPad app, and not the more "complete" but expensive way of the sound card + microphone + pc

Question: with the app is it possible to obtain a "satisfactory" result?

Many thanks to those who can contribute

If you are comfortable with manual EQ you can get a good result. The interface is not awesome, however.

Having done both the iPad app and the automated method using MA1 microphone, I'd say the automated method is worth the money. It takes into consideration the type of monitor you're using as well and is very quick compared to manual EQ. You can manually adjust the curve after the main work is done.

Hi @pozz ,
tnx for your message.
I will consider buying MA-1 and sound card

bye

I agree. Especially integrating the sub to the mains is much easier with MA-1.
