I’ve been in sort of a scotch journey over the past couple of months, having tried these for the first time:

Towards the end of a bottle of this. It's not bad, but not as good as I remembered it, maybe more of a winter whisky.
Also continuing to try some rums, finished a bottle of this.
Now got a bottle of this open.
I preferred the el dorado 12 year old to both of these, they are sweeter and not quite to my taste, very easy to drink though.

Can vouch for the Craigellachie 13 as a very well-made whisky with an unusual taste profile - think aperitif in whisky form. Fantastic texture, herbal, coconut, pineapple.

Are you just trying to get someone to ply you with drinks? It's a good plan if it works.
My dealer (hi-fi I hasten to add) delivered my KEF R3s on Wednesday; he noted my extensive forest of fine spirits on the sideboard!
He jokingly opined that I might have an alcohol problem!
I explained that I used to, but now I can afford all I want !

The ledaig and bladnoch were especially good. I’m still getting to know the Deanston.
can you tell I like Weller or maybe it’s just the “wheated” ?

I tried the special reserve and the antique and am not a big fan. At least they are producing something obtainable now.
I prefer Eagle Rare from BT. I wish you could still buy the 17 for MSRP everywhere.
I have largely moved on to Scotch as Bourbon has gotten so expensive lately.
I have some good bourbon stored away though.
I can not decide if BT or Evam Williams is my favorite distiller. I have and have had some really nice single barrel Elijah Craig 18, 20, etc. Those and the Eagle Rare 17 are my favorites.

I love the triple cask 15. Almost a perfect match for my tastes. The double cask was a disapointment after the triple.
