Ah. I thought cause you typed the title in French, which is excellent...with a French director, French actors, French movie crews, French props and stuntmen.

"The movie was filmed mainly in Paris. The Café des 2 Moulins (15 Rue Lepic, Montmartre, Paris) where Amélie works is a real place.

The studio scenes were filmed in the Coloneum Studio in Cologne (Germany). The film shares many of the themes in its plot with the second half of the 1994 film Chungking Express."

Of all the soundtracks I've bothered to buy as well as how it moved the movie, Dazed and Confused is one of my favorites. Rocky Horror Picture Show is a contender. The Graduate, The Commitments come to mind. Talking Heads Stop Making Sense is sort of one and the same.....

"Diva" from 1981. A beautiful movie, a great story, and truly beautiful music. The opening scene in the opera house is marvelous. And there's great hi-fi gear in it as well!
