Speaker colors always depend on the rest of the room and the other furniture. Any wooden designs are generally difficult to match with the rest. Unless you have modern clean surfaces, I don't like to mix different types of wood in a room. So I would be very careful with ordering the walnut. Seriously, ask your wife.

That said. The 4349 are rather big, and having two huge black boxes could actually be worse than walnut. If it were available, I would order them in white, because that actually mixes well with everything.

I vote for walnut, though I wonder if it'll actually have been 'born tree-ly' :)

Does anyone here own the 4349?

I had 4367 and enjoyed them. I would consider 4349 as a possible replacement if general consensus deems them worthy.

Hi @Valentin R!
Would you happen to know the part numbers for that waveguide and mounting plate?...
I cannot find any exploded view of technical document.

JBL's really been on a roll with the Synthesis line over the last few years.
I'm really thrilled with my HDI's as are a number of other members here, along with 4367's & M2's
Go JBL

have you received your JBL 4349
They are being shipped in the US
I have not purchased them. They are expensive for one-off test. But I am pondering it.....

Agreed, walnut looks good and probably easier to sell.
I had walnut 4367’s and they’re bigger but still looked good in walnut.

Please test 4349. I’m looking for a set of speakers and currently looking at revel 228be or jbl 4349 or save my money and get revel f208 or jbl hdi3800. Some one help guide me.

My vote would be for the Revel products.
