Only if you need the power. SE is fine, actually has less noise.

I would expect like the l30 ie volume controlled. A50s has to be turned on and not bypass like A50.

If so, it's time to pick up another A50 for future use before they disappear, I see their price dropped from 169€ to ~144€ on Audiophonics.

The upcoming A30 Pro would use bypass, but it will be more expensive and with a different set of features.

I ordered mine, time to sell the L30.

It will be my end game (for real, i swear). I dont have anything very hard to drive but i like the mojo of a balanced out. So a small, super clean bal amp is all i need.

When I use with DT880 600Ohm. It has already enough power. T60rp is a piece of cake for L30.
Only K1000 and HE6 are pushing it (still enough for normal use). All other dynamic or planar headphones can be easily driven by L30.

Because A50 was using DC input and there's already P50. Internally A50 and A50s are using SMPS, if it's linear like L30 it would require larger chassis for capacitors. And it will run even hotter. Remember A50 and A50s are balanced amp.
These three reasons made A50s still 15V DC input.

What gain do you get when using P50 + DX3pro?
I found no opinion on.

Wouldn't the P50's better power and its higher capacitance / power reserve give the dx3pro a better dynamic sound, like better bass, etc?
