Looks good. The only thing you could do is add 10mm pieces of black glue-lined heatshrink to the ends of the woven polypropylene and it'd be worthy of RGB lighting like a gaming pooder with a perspex cut out lid.

(Hey, there's an idea for the next HiFi show...Audiophiles love cut-aways and perspex windows to see the innards) (I'll take a P-452 for that idea.)

I wouldn't say "easy", it is 0603 surface mount, but if you have the tools and skills.... Have to point out it would invalidate the warranty.

However we can set the gain to anything you like at manufacture to save you the trouble . Just contact us with your requirements.

How about a version in a bigger case and a couple sexy VU meters upfront.
Or monoblock version with a single VU.

A pair of Sony TAN-77es the same as mine. Run the pair in mono and get ~600wpc@8R and ~1KW@4R. Each meter is over 6" diagonal. 26.5kg each- 53kg for the pair- you need a decent shelf. I have mine along the top of a solid timber buffet. You don't really want to stack them in summer- they run pretty toasty.

They are gorgeus but last I checked, they fetch around $3000 aud each on eBay and good luck finding them
Money per wattage + performance, I think it is very hard to beat these new purifi based amps.

To power the LCR channels in the home theatre, that'd take...

• 3 x P451 @$1,165.50/per = $3496.50

OR

• 1 x P451 @$1,165.50/per + 1 x P452 @$1,600.00/per = $2765.50

A difference of $731.00

Since both setups would be driven by one Purifi 1ET400A per channel, does the cost difference come down to the case expense, and the additional labour to build/test/ship 3 amps vs 2? Or, is there something material to performance which would make somebody spend the premium for 3 P451 monoblocks?

TL;DR - Other than the aesthetic preference & placement flexibility, is there an objective technical benefit to 3 x P451 VS 1 P451 + 1 P452?

PS... you might want to indicate L, W, H for the dimensions on your site, or label them in a consistent order.

P451 - 330mm x 180mm x 75mm (LxWxH)
P452 - 360mm x 200mm x 85mm (WxLxH)

... but one is narrow & deep, while the other is wide & shallow.
