Still really want you to review a DCM bookshelf speaker. @Dennis Murphy has very high praise for these speakers, and I trust his opinion. They're very cheap. Not sure which model would be best to test, but maybe @Dennis Murphy can give chime in.

Pretty sure you can't get any better for the price. I have the KH 80 DSP and i love them.

I'm not telling you to buy them. I'm fascinated by What HiFi's subjective love for this new company's speakers.

Thanks. I ordered it. It was $150 on Amazon but was reading crazy stories of ebay sales for much less.

They were first on eBay for $49 a pair but as demand shot up, settled on around $80 a pair.

I am thinking it may make sense to buy a few budget but popular speakers to test. Or alternatively members buying and donating them to be tested.

So what is "in" these days as far as budget speakers? I am thinking under $200 for a pair.

Floyd Toole had mentioned Arena 120 being capable of really neutral full-range sound withba subwoofer, and there are measurements available for that too. Stage A120 is the new replacement. That'll be a good test of the company too, as to whether they are cost cutting with new models at the cost of sound or not.
