The tps65130 inside also makes things worse.
I will remove the switcher and supply by lt3045 +-9v.

I suspect that one is driving the OLED too. I haven't looked at it yet.

However, it will be a little more work, as TPS has 24-pin, and LT just 12 pins, and of course they aren't pin compatible.

The 9v will be supply by a networkcable and will also supply the 5v belleson which I have already put in the system.
I use diyinhk modules for the +-9v

how much did these mods cost you and which ones do you think were worth the money? Are you going to replace any resistors or capacitors?

So...who decided this thing needed to be modded? What is the improvement you are seeking, or is it just that it's fun to change stuff?

@JohnYang1997 , @solderdude ... what do you think? These make any sense to you?

10.0 Ohm, if you have to ask why are you modifying circuits ?
Why not use a multimeter?
Seems to me the absolute minimum required testing tool for anyone doing mods.

But it has long been noticed that replacing OA with another one with the same TND affects the sound noticeably.

When tested sighted... sure ..

Many thanks! I have a D50, I want to upgrade to remove the "hump ESS". In the D50s it is not.

The difference with disabled switcher is nice

And, these comparisons are also done with no listening controls or measurements...?
