The best thing I've watched for a while:
The English - Series 1: 1. What You Want and What You Need
A Pawnee scout claiming his birthright and an Englishwoman out for revenge cross paths.www.bbc.co.uk
I think it's also on Amazon Prime for those outside the UK.
Lots of rave reviews for that one, definitely on my list.
On a less serious note, I haven't been slumming it on Netflix so much lately, but I enjoyed Kleo a lot. The retro GDR socialism is well done (I think better than Killing Eve in that respect, the backstory being less formulaic) and the tone is a bit more measured/sophisticated than the trailer indicates. It also veers into Grand Guignol if you like that sort of thing.
There's a second season coming so the Netflix high-and-dry-on-a-cliffhanger isn't imminent.
Edit: why does autocorrect put an apostrophe in "lot's" ... when is that ever correct? And why do I pay over the odds for an Apple thing just to make me look dim-witted? /rant.
