Reminds me of a poem by Baltimore's own Ogden Nash:
The High Roads Commission

In between the route marks
And the shaving rhymes,
Black and yellow markers
Comment on the times.
All along the highway
Hear the signs discourse:

MEN
S L O W
WORKING;

SADDLE
C R O S S I N G
HORSE
·

Cryptic crossroads preachers
Proffer good advice

Helping wary drivers
Keep out of Paradise.

Transcontinental sermons,
Transcendental talk:

SOFT
C A U T I O N
SHOULDERS;

CROSS
C H I L D R E N
WALK
·

Wisest of their proverbs,
Truest of their talk,
Have I found that dictum:

CROSS
C H I L D R E N
WALK
·

When Adam took the highway
He left his sons a guide:

CROSS
C H I L D R E N
WALK;

CHEERFUL
C H I L D R E N
RIDE

Vintage Advertising For The Panasonic Model R-1088 AM Radio-Mini Organ In A Pay 'n Save Store Ad In The Honolulu Advertiser Newspaper, December 3, 1978 by Joe Haupt, on Flickr

So, while I'll submit that this product is humo(u)rous in the abstract...
to me, the truly durable funny bits are:

1) somebody had to think of it.
2) somebody pitched it to management.
3) someone convinced Panasonic to "productize" it.
4) all of these people, presumably, got paid.

;)

Vintage Panasonic AM Portable Radio-Mini Organ, Model R-1088, Made In Japan, Circa 1978 by Joe Haupt, on Flickr

Two parting thoughts:
a) I'd love to have one.
b) If I did, I'd be sorely tempted to pack it up and send it to @amirm for testing. He could publish the results early next April.

Panasonic/National/Matsushita has held a global market for a long time and have made some pretty interesting pieces.

Two little boys at a wedding one asked the other how many wives a man could have?
Sixteen was the reply!
Four better, four worse, four richer and four poorer.
Benny Hill up in heaven smiles as one of his jokes causes smiles.

One of my favorite Benny Hill jokes:
"You could tell Moses was ill by the size of the tablets."
