An LS60-killer..;)..?

Always liked Cabasse, they go their own way, always has. Like older Citroens..

As I am a coaxial-fanboy, I cant even imagine how good a triaxial can be? If done right, of-course..

30 hertz with 220mm*220mm*220mm?
115dB?
It's a magical speaker.

Yes, DSP-correction of speakers could indeed be called magic. You should try it.
And 115db is not at 30 hertz. But you knew that already, didn't you..;)

People get so wound up about the new KEF LS60, as do I, but these seem even more exciting. Look much nicer, IMHO. And $3800 for the pair...

Magical math more likely. Or measured from 2 inches. Without more details it does seem to be a stretch.

The Pearl Akoya and the bigger brother The Pearl are around for a while now but their presence is almost unnoticed unfortunately.

Listen to them both in mono and stereo and side by side LS50W2.
Although Kef measures better and is aming for a more neutral presentation, in a double-blind test I am not sure which one would I picked.
The Cabasse sounds amazing, has a different presentation than the Kef and I definitely prefere them on some tracks.

Just for fun I took home Cabasse Minorca 40 to test against my current Concept 300 speakers and I was intrigued how good they sounded especially in the midrange!
Sounded so good actually that I now have the Cabasse Murano's on my short list for the next upgrade together with Kef Ref1 and LS60.
Hope to get to hear them all next week in Munich's High End.
