As kid: farm cats&kittens, two samoyed males
As adult: now a wheaten terrier 7yo female (sterilized) Willa (Woollie in English) and had a rescue male Patrick who had to be given eutanasia because of bad habits

Can. I don't know any wheatens that want to get their tail cut. ;)

In some countries like USA, most wheatens must submiss to their human's desire to docking.

Hello Boris. You look very regal
Thanks!
Boris is a bit too big for the guidelines set down by the American Kennel Club at 35lbs, without a pinch of fat on him. The only problem we have had is a slipped disc in his neck. Cost a lot to put right worth every penny and more.

Excuse the poor photo-of-a-photo, but it's all I have right now. This was Stan the springer spaniel - the smartest, most loyal and loving dog I ever had, with my daughter, forty years ago. Interestingly she grew up to be a dog trainer - worked in Hollywood for a long time, until the migration to CGI, and is now a law enforcement K9 specialist.

Fitz, my other French bulldog is 45lbs of all muscle. Did a DNA test, and he has English bulldog in him than a pug.

Think they look better for being a bit bigger. Had a Staffie who was 45lbs of muscle which is bigger than the Kennel Club maximum weight. Get worried with Kennel Club‘s strict limits on weight and height, surely coming from healthy stock is more important. Boris has French and Canadian grand parents, so no signs on his pedigree of inbreeding. Any chance of a photo of Fritz?
Thanks
Ron
