Out of curiousity, for those diehard hd650 lovers. How often do you guys replace your earpads? I'm personally on my 3rd replacement. I've owned the cans for probably 10 years now. Most days they are on my head for 4 or more hours.

I remember way back soundcards marketed towards gamers would advertise a simultaneous sounds figure and possibly other game related things. Does any of this apply anymore? Or is all that handled by the OS and a usb dac is just the endpoint of a stream of data and should have no impact on gaming?

I apologize if this is a stupid question but, I have a headphone amplifier with unbalanced inputs. Is it best to connect the interface from the headphone output or use the balanced outputs with a cable isolating the positive signals?
