Sorry for the months-late reply but im using MC lo, which is 60dB. That gives me a healthy level but no trace of clipping. I did briefly test out the 72dB mode and it was clipping nonstop.
I currently use a MiniDSP DDRC-24, but I'm considering upgrading to a Flex at some point in the next few months. I don't expect it to sound any different, but I want to make the switch to get a coaxial S/PDIF input, so I have the option of connecting my turntable from the digital out of a Parks...
Well, I'll take that to mean "no notes, perfect plan."
I did execute the plan. Got the SL-100C from Germany and got the AT33PTG/II from a Japanese retailer for an excellent price. Both came via DHL with no headaches, and the turntable works fine with a junk drawer North American power cord...
